Pandora Planet is perfect planet and it's place where humanity have paradise. Ecosystem is compete but without tools to create space ships. So Pandora is perfect prison after many years. Pandora needs interactions with alien species because without this ecosystem is bored.
It needs wood to replace steel, durable enough to travel through space. This part of source code is above my skills. I haven't idea how to write it.
Pandora works on principle: get ugly thing and put beautiful textures on it. This thing can be still dangerous but ecosystem manage with this.
You need to create new, monstrous plant to send it to Pandora. It create from this plant material to space travel.
Pandora have computer plants which are calculating every version of universe. This biocomputers are working on cycles principle.

Oaks have keyboard too, but it needs to be turned on on cedar compiler.
Default it's disabled on oaks.
